    The Hamm City Library

Like the SRH, the central library of Hamm is located in the Heinrich-von-Kleist-Forum. All SRH students receive a library card at the beginning of their studies, which is automatically extended every semester. This means that all SRH students have unlimited access to all the offers and services of the city library.

Most of the media holdings in the central library are in German. However, there is a foreign language offer on the first floor. There you can also find dictionaries, novels, CDs and DVDs in English, for example.

All books of the SRH are housed in the premises of the central library, assigned to the respective subject groups and provided with an additional sticker "SRH". The subject groups "economy" and "technology" are on the 3rd floor. There are also English-language specialist books there.

During opening hours, the library can also be used to study or to prepare for exams. Free W-LAN and free workstations are available. There are individual and group workplaces on all floors. In addition, 3 group rooms for groups of at least 2 people can be reserved for 3 hours a day. When making an appointment, only the user ID is required.

Online encyclopedias and databases can also be used outside the central library free of charge. These are compiled on the right-hand side of the Homepage. If you need to log in, you must enter your 11-digit ID number and your own date of birth as a password in ten-digit form (DD.MM.YYYY).

    Opening times: Mo-Fr 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sa 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

All information about the Hamm city libraries can be found on their Homepage. (at the top in the middle under "language" you can switch to English)
